在九份的山與霧之間，
一棟老屋重新學會了呼吸。
很榮幸，

以住宅作品《Between Mist and Mountain》榮獲
「2026 Rome Design Awards 羅馬設計大獎」國際設計獎項肯定🙏
這是一個位於九份山城的老屋改造案。
原有建築長期受潮、採光不足、空間封閉，
我們嘗試重新打開光線、空氣與人之間的關係。
拆除封閉的屋頂後，
讓天光重新落進中庭；
打開折疊窗後，
風與霧也重新進入生活。
我們始終相信，
設計不只是改變空間，
而是讓居住重新與環境產生連結。

Between Mist and Mountain
Between the mountains and mist of Jiufen,
an old house learned how to breathe again.
We are honored to share that
Not A Bridge Interior Design
has received international recognition at the
2026 Rome Design Awards
for our residential project
《Between Mist and Mountain》.
Located in the historic mountain town of Jiufen, Taiwan,
this renovation began with an aging structure challenged by moisture, limited daylight, and enclosed living conditions.
Rather than erasing the past,
we sought to reopen the relationship between light, air, architecture, and daily life.
By removing the enclosed roof,
natural light was invited back into the courtyard;
by opening the folding windows,
mist, breeze, and nature once again became part of the living experience.
We believe design is not only about transforming space,
but about reconnecting people with their environment.
