The Minister of Commerce Visits the Bearwake Booth and Praises Thai Character IP “Liko Liko” at TCEX 2026
At the Thailand Character & Content Expo 2026 (TCEX 2026), Bearwake was honored to welcome Ms. Suphajee Suthumpun, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, who visited the Bearwake booth and learned about Liko Liko – Lucky Lion, an original Thai Character IP inspired by the guardian stone lions found at Thai temples. The character has been developed into a Creative IP and Art Toy brand, creating added value for Thailand’s intellectual property and creative industries.
During the visit, the Bearwake team presented its vision of developing a Character IP that blends Thai cultural identity with contemporary design, while showcasing its strategy for expanding into international markets through Art Toys, licensing opportunities, and collaborations with creative businesses.
The Minister’s visit was a great honor and an important source of encouragement for Thai creators and entrepreneurs. It also reflects the Thai government’s commitment to supporting the growth of the country’s Character, Content, and Soft Power industries, helping bring Thai creativity to the global stage.
