CHUMA: Strength, Beauty, Rebirth
From ore to form, from old to gold.
You are warmly invited to experience a powerful celebration of transformation where industry meets imagination, and metal becomes meaning.
CHUMA is an interdisciplinary exhibition that explores iron not only as a material, but as a living symbol of strength, resilience, and renewal. Through bold fashion creations made from recycled metal, striking sculptural works, and immersive performances in music and theatre, the exhibition reimagines chuma as both artistic medium and metaphor for Tanzanian creativity.
This is more than an exhibition, it is a movement. A dialogue between sustainability and beauty. A celebration of rebirth through art.
