But according to Marie-Christine Osselin, Moët & Chandon's wine quality and communication manager, French fries might actually be the best thing to nosh with your bubbly. Osselin told The Drinks Business that the saltiness and crunchiness of fries complement the acidity and bubbles in the champagne.
