This throw is woven from unbleached New Zealand wool — the natural cream color comes straight from the fiber, no dyes involved. The basket stitch gives it a beautiful open texture, and the hand-embroidered merino border adds a warm peach detail that ties the whole piece together.

This rug doesn’t appear at once.

It is built step by step on the loom.
Thread after thread, row after row, the surface becomes dense and stable.

At first, there is only a base.
Then the texture starts to form.
The pattern appears gradually, not printed, not copied.

Wool holds the structure, and the rug keeps its shape because of how it is woven.
