Today I’m finishing work on my rug. I made all the volume elements. Now I have to process all the edges on the back side of the cotton tape.... This work requires precision and patience.

I'm nearing the end of the process of making my rug. I've already made all the elements. Today I'm ironing, gluing the backing, and starting to trim the pile...

The process turned out to be more complicated than I expected, so I spent two days just trimming the loops and sanding the surface. I still have to finish the outline on the back...

Процес виявився складнішим, ніж я передбачала, тому я витратила 2 дні тільки на зрізання петель та шліфування поверхні. Ще потрібно обробити контур на вивороті.

Size 65" x 85". I don't know how to describe this technique in one word, because there is both embroidery and crocheting of volumetric elements on a knitted fabric. The bedspread also has a lining, so the back side is reliably protected during use.
