Our Gropius Counter Chairs take center stage in this private residence in Kansas City, Missouri, designed by McCroskey Interiors. The kitchen was envisioned as warm, comfortable, and highly personal — a space that felt collected rather than overly coordinated.

As the design evolved, many of the architectural and decorative elements leaned traditional, so Laura (designer) selected the Gropius chairs as an intentional counterpoint. Their sculptural form adds a playful, artistic element to the room while still feeling comfortable and approachable. They keep the kitchen from becoming too formal or predictable, giving it the distinctive, one-of-a-kind character the homeowner wanted.

The result is a thoughtful mix of traditional and contemporary elements — layered, artistic, and uniquely personal to the home.

HELLO Sofa takes on a new character when upholstered in The Panthera Totem by Alice Patience & Oliver Gough

Its sculptural silhouette remains quiet and understated, while the expressive botanical pattern introduces a layer of texture, colour, and movement. From a distance, the sofa reads as a bold sculptural form; up close, the details begin to unfold.

A bachelor’s apartment doesn’t need to shout to have personality.

180 m² where character comes from surface rather than decoration: a striking blue gradient kitchen and a neon pendant light, a curved metal hood catching the light, an island set on veined stone. Every volume is rounded, nothing is sharp.

Our Gropius bar chairs in pale blue sit at the centre — the one soft, tactile gesture in a room built from metal and stone.

Our Gropius Chair finds its place within this atmospheric Galway home, Ireland, complementing an interior shaped by rich colour, layered textures, and carefully considered natural light.

Originally a Georgian-style residence, the house was reimagined to connect its historic character with contemporary family life — creating a space that feels both timeless and deeply atmospheric.

As designer Róisín Lafferty puts it: “Storytelling with interiors, there is more of a focus on depth, history and merging eras than before — which allows people to play and mix and match pieces.”

A thoughtful dialogue between old and new, architecture and furniture.
