Fresh milled whole grain flour is gaining popularity among home bakers for its high nutritional value and flavor. Sarah will demonstrate milling wheat with her Nutrimill grain mill, various types of wheat berries and ancient grains, the differences between fresh milled whole grain flour and commercial flour, and practical tips and techniques for incorporating fresh milled flour into your baking routine. Techniques will cover both commercial yeast breads and sourdough.
Whether you're curious about getting started, looking an exciting new twist to your bread baking, or simply interested in learning more about the grain-to-loaf process, this Bread Club meeting is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge and connect with fellow bread enthusiasts.
