🧶Anne Elyse finished her Alchemist Sweater by Wool and Pine in Miss Babs Yowza!! Gorgeous and perfect for Fall!

🧶Heidi finished her Bullseye Diamond Hat as part of our Secret Stitch pattern series! Great job!

🧶Carol finished her Usonian Shawl by Dee O’Keefe as part of the Secret Stitch pattern series! Stunning in the teals!

🧶Clare finished her Jaunty Shawl by Andrea Mowry in a gorgeous variegated yarn! This pattern is such fun since you can use any weight yarn for it!

🧶Candi finished her California Dreamin’ Snood crocheted in our exclusive Merry Mint Colorway, hand dyed by Lonesome Pine Yarnworks! On display at the shop! Super cute!

🍁🍂🍃WHAT A FUN WEEKEND!

Thank you to all who came to Fall Yarn Camp!

🍿🎥🎬Flicks and Stitches was Friday night with a throwback “When Harry Met Sally”, with knitting, crochet and popcorn!

🩷Lil Dupree, founder of Stitches and Stones, shared with us how she creates her handmade stitch markers and new shawl pins with stones such as Malachite and gorgeous copper and silver wire! Fascinating!

🧶We celebrated Taylor for her annual knit and crochet contribution of handmade hats for our “Keep Abingdon Warm” program! She brought us 3 TOTES of hats!🩵

🐑🐑🐑Andrea Metcalf, owner of C&A Farms in Meadowview, taught us how to needle felt her adorable Fluff Buddy Sheep using the wool from her sheep! It was SO much fun!!

💃💃💃AND an amazing Fashion Show of the group’s finished pieces! I’ll post that separately…but we all easily left with 5 or 6 new patterns in our knitting or crochet que!😎

Happy WIP Wednesday!!

I have 2 projects in my bag right now and they are BOTH crochet!

🧶Started working on my “Lucy Basket” (available on Ravelry) in Juniper Moon Farm La Pampa Bulky 100% wool in the color Carnation. I love the pink and think this will make a GREAT Christmas gift!

🧶I am in Granny Square heaven as I crochet 36 squares for my Jethro Cardigan (also on Ravelry) using Miss Babs Yowza DK. So much fun and love combining my 6 colors to create one of a kind squares! The base color will be White Peppercorn and the sleeves are knitted. Such a fun project!

📣HAPPY MAKER MONDAY!

Today I finished my Jaunty by Andrea Mowry! I am going to wear this a lot this fall…a gorgeous stitch of half fisherman’s rib.

I used some hand dyed Prism Yarn from my stash…one of our Secret Stitch Society patterns. Love how it turned out - so squishy!
