September’s Candle of the Month: GATHER 🍂🤎

Warm, woodsy and just a little sweet—Gather is everything I want September to smell like. Notes of plum and crisp maple leaf meet nutty acorn, sandalwood and patchouli for the coziest welcome into fall.

And somehow… we’re already down to just THREE Candle of the Month candles left in 2026. 🥹

If you’ve been thinking about joining the Candle of the Month Club, there’s still time! Sign up now and your first candle will be our October Candle of the Month followed by November + December.

Plus, Candle of the Month members receive an exclusive discount on Fragrant Farmhouse purchases, which means your membership perks will come in handy when our new small-batch drops begin. 👀🍂

Three months. Three exclusive scents. One last cozy stretch of 2026.

Join now and start with October. 🤎

Almost 10 years into Fragrant Farmhouse, I’m learning that sometimes keeping something you love means allowing it to change. 🤎

Life looks different than it did when I started pouring candles in 2017. Between work, family, and everything else this season holds, keeping a fully stocked website while also pouring for stores, events, subscriptions, and online orders just isn’t working anymore.

And I don't like making you wait on an order because I haven't been able to get into the Candle Barn.

So I’m changing things up.

For now, I’m pulling our everyday inventory from the website while I pour like crazy for our local retailers and the Lodi Street Faire.

Then… we’re doing DROPS. 🙌🏼

🍂 Limited fall drop coming mid-October
🎄 Christmas collection coming in early November
🤎 Small batches, limited quantities, poured intentionally

And because I don't want you to miss them, I just launched Fragrant Farmhouse Drop Alerts! 📱

Head to our website and sign up with your phone number. I'll send you a text when a new candle drop goes live so you can shop before your favorites are gone.

In the meantime, you can still shop Fragrant Farmhouse:

📍 Her Pretty Things Boutique
📍 In Season Nursery
🍂 Lodi Street Faire — October 4

Fragrant Farmhouse isn’t closing.

I’m just finding a way to keep doing something I love in a way that actually fits the life I have now.

And I’m really excited about what this next chapter could look like. 🤎

Thank you for continuing to show up for this little candle business of mine. Nearly 10 years later, I still get to pour candles because of you.

And somehow, here I am… still making candles. 🤎

Almost 10 years later, and every single one is still made by these two hands.

Now be honest… how many candles are currently in your house? 👀😂

No judgment here. This is a safe space for candle hoarders. 🕯️

Almost 10 years ago, I started making candles.

And somehow, all these years later, I can still walk into a store and see Fragrant Farmhouse sitting on the shelves. 🤎

If I'm being real, I've been a little quiet over here.

Life has been full. My attention has been pulled in a hundred different directions, and somewhere along the way I stopped giving this little business the time and energy it deserves.

But I'm not ready to be done.

I'm not ready to give up on the thing I built from scratch. The scents I've perfected. The customers who have come back year after year. The little candle business that has been through so many different seasons of my life.

So maybe this is me finding my way back to it.

Showing up again. Sharing more. Making things feel fun again instead of like another thing on my never-ending to-do list.

And maybe refreshing this shelf today was the reminder I needed:

Fragrant Farmhouse is still here. And so am I. 🤎

Fall candles are on the shelves at Her Pretty Things and online now. 🍂

What's the first Fragrant Farmhouse scent you remember buying?
