"feels like there's more joy coming out of this one". In the true mirror, the expression of joy has a lot of light and life in the eyes, and it is continuous, you see it, feel it and it grows instead of fades. The regular mirror can't really reflect these higher energy expressions and emotions, because the light in the eye is simply doesn't look or read properly. It's kind of nuts because so many of our positive expressions simply go away to ourselves, causing us to doubt or question them. And of course most of this is subconscious, It's Just happening to us automatically, and we just go with it because that's the norm since childhood.

When you can see Joy in your eyes within the true mirror, it's really quite affirming and beautiful all at once

Plus you can juggle in front of it, who knew? Haha!

Thomas thomasbrownaffair gets to see his dry humor in action when it then translates to a bright and happy laughter. Of course it feels friendly, and of course it opens up so much more of who he is and what he's thinking and feeling.

This is true of everybody, as soon as someone lights up, there's so much more to see and understand about them, as compared to if they just are staring at you. And yet that's what happens in regular mirrors, our expressions become fleeting, and especially our genuine smile that lights us up goes missing entirely.

It's no wonder our self image is often at odds with the way others perceive us, and/or we never are sure of ourselves around others. How can we when our internal sense of how we are has been being fed a different version of us from the mirror, every day since childhood?

A true mirror is designed to show us who we *are*, not just what we look like. Once we see it, we can rebuild our sense of self to be more in line with what's actually real, what others actually see in us and of us. It can clear up a lot of confusion and puts us on a path towards understanding our strengths in communication. Like dry humor coupled with an easy laugh. We can see them as our special gifts we bring to the table, giving new reasons to believe in ourselves.

Two brothers, two great connections to themselves! Watching them together made me smile, thinking about how they clearly were pals for their whole lives, and getting to see them both come alive to themselves just as they are to each other. So sweet and beautiful.

Sergio saw me bringing the true mirror in to the summer hoot Festival and was curious. When I told him what it was he was even more curious see what it was like, and when he actually saw himself, he really connected. Both in this video and in the other one we did, Plus off camera comment he and his brother both really loved what they saw in themselves. This is what the true mirror is all about: seeing the qualities of who we are, visible to us for the first time. So beautiful!

So much fun to bring the true mirror to Summer Hoot, a folk music fest in beautiful Ashokan NY. The people there were real deal , and they got to see it for themselves

Hoot Festival! A folk music festival in ashokan center upstate NY. Once again I'm getting out and showing ppl what they look like unreversed, which is also what they *are* like! We are so much more as human beings than what reflects from reverse mirrors...full of life and light, energy and personality. It shows up in the True Mirror!

"I have a problem with being seen" might be related to not believing in yourself at a real level, but then believing what is being reflected in the reverse mirror, which isn't really real, it's altered and attenuated. And so we see ourselves without our natural expressions, especially the bright and vibrant ones, and it's hard to like yourself this way. But when you see the sparkle in your eye, and the charm in your smile and the vibrancy of your being, you can see that it's worth being seen.

The crazy part is that this is of course what everyone else sees, they don't see the version of you that shows up in mirrors when you make eye contact and lose all that vitality, they'll always see you with your full being, and all your expressions. Whatever is going on, however it shows up on your face, that's what they see, and it has so much more going on. And ultimately that's where all that inner beauty comes from!

"it makes me feel a lot more confident and a lot more beautiful". It's all about the energy that comes out of us when we're really being ourselves. What does that look like, what does that feel like what does it do to our self-confidence when we see it in all its glory. A lot, especially when the reverse mirror takes so much of that away. Hard to like and love just a face and body, versus seeing, liking and loving the *being* that you are.❤️🙏
