I'm still in love with the deep berry tones of the calla lilies and the most gorgeous contrast against L's ivory gown. Every detail of the florals was intentional, dramatic, and effortlessly elegant. What a vision. 🤍

The feelings of literal joy were palpable the whole day. There is something about a wedding in Northern Michigan that just cannot be beat. Not sure how you couldn't be smiling from ear to ear when you are surrounded by your closest family and friends after driving past crystal blue water and orchard after orchard... 🍒🍃🩵

Full tables, full bellies, ears full of laughter... my HEART is so full from this wedding season. I loved creating this tomato filled reception for E&V. It meant a lot of collaboration, trust and creativity. There was so much thoughtfulness put into this entire wedding. We source tomatoes and vines fresh, in the field! from and it couldn't have worked out more perfect. I wanted the tables to have visual interest with varied color, size and shape and I found so many fun varieties of tomatoes that it all came together incredibly well. The tables felt full and lush just like a garden winding down for fall.

Fun side notes: We cracked up every time we put a new address into the GPS to take us to the next set up. It would be like 0.2miles to the next spot. Everything was right in Glen Arbor, so much so that we even saw guests walking from the ceremony at a private residence to the cocktail hour at a w**e bar in town. When we were checking into our B&B we saw the bride and groom drive by in their cute red convertible, cans clanging in the street. So much fun all around.

On the last day of summer, a little ode to abundance. 🍅

This shoot was dreamed up as a celebration of summer at its fullest, tomatoes still warm from the garden, flowers reaching in every direction, a table overflowing with all the good things the season gives us.

Looking back, it feels pretty fitting for this summer in particular.

An abundance of work. Of creativity. Of opportunities that stretched me. Of people who trusted me with their celebrations. Of growth that sometimes happened so quickly I didn't have time to recognize it while I was in it.
And underneath all of it, so much gratitude.

There is something magical about summer, how wildly everything grows when given enough light. How quickly the season passes. How, for a brief moment, everything seems to be blooming and ripening all at once.

So here's to the abundance of this one. To what grew, what was gathered, and everything still being planted for the seasons ahead. ❤️🍅

I have been so lucky this season to work with the most creative, SWEET and trusting couples. M&E were all of that and more 💛 So much planning and communication went into bringing this dreamy day to life. Summer flowers at their finest 🤍 I love a dancing cosmo and the little feverfew bridesmaids bouquets were the perfect amount of whimsy and cuteness.
