We do.

Our Gallery & Gifts Shop has cards featuring artwork and scenes inspired by Virginia, the mountains, wildlife, wildflowers and more.

This wall is a pretty good example of what makes the RVCC Gallery so much fun.

Photography next to pyrography. Paintings next to intricate mandala work. Wildlife, landscapes, color, texture and completely different artistic styles all sharing the same space.

Consider this your warning: October 10 could be dangerous for anyone who has ever said, “I definitely don’t need more art supplies.”

The RVCC Auditorium will be packed with thousands of new and used art, craft, and storage supplies from 9 AM–4 PM.

We’re talking:

Painting and drawing papers, watercolor and acrylic paints, inks, charcoal, pens and pencils, cardstock, stamps, stamp pads, embossing powders, dies, punches, washi tape, stickers, adhesives, card-making supplies, jewelry tools and findings, yarn, ribbon, lace, fabric dyes, polymer and air-dry clay, resin supplies, art books, storage tubs, drawer units, totes, boxes and a whole lot more.

There are designer and quality brands throughout the collection, including Tim Holtz, Anna Griffin, Ranger, Spellbinders, Golden, Liquitex, Strathmore, Faber-Castell, Speedball and many others.

This special art supply fundraiser is about much more than finding a great deal on creative supplies.

The thousands of art materials coming to RVCC on October 10 belonged to Eve Watters, a gifted paper artist, Celtic harpist, storyteller, therapeutic musician, and longtime Virginia artist who passed away in 2024.

Eve described herself as making “art for all the senses.” Her visual work was layered, multicultural, experimental, and filled with the same creativity she brought to her music and storytelling.

Thanks to the generosity of her husband, Ian Henry, Eve’s remarkable collection of art and craft materials has been donated to make this RVCC fundraiser possible.

Now her papers, paints, stamps, tools, inks, card-making materials, books, and countless other creative supplies have an opportunity to find their way into the hands of other artists and makers.

We think that’s a pretty wonderful next chapter for a lifetime of creative materials.

Apparently, we've got a little magic tucked away in the Gallery too.

Fairies, dragons, owls, jewelry, tiny treasures and wonderfully imaginative artwork have taken over this corner of the shop.

If your taste runs a little more toward enchanted forests than beige home décor, you may want to investigate this particular nook.

The Gallery & Gifts Shop at RVCC is packed with work from local artists and makers, including pottery, woodworking, fiber art, paintings, home goods, jewelry and plenty more.

There is a LOT tucked into this little shop, so don't just peek through the doorway. Come in and wander.

One of the best things about shopping the RVCC Gallery & Gifts Shop? You really never know what you're going to find.

Books, handmade gifts, fiber art, little wooden treasures, whimsical creatures, locally made products and plenty of things that are nearly impossible to categorize.

Which, frankly, is part of the fun.

Take your time, look in the nooks and crannies, and see what catches your eye.
