It’s State Fair time in Minnesota!

The Great Minnesota Get-Together has a way of bringing out all the things we love about this state—good food, creativity, tradition, a little nostalgia, and A LOT of people watching. 😂

Looking through some of our State Fair pictures from over the years got us thinking about how much we love the creative spirit of Minnesota.

And honestly, that’s a big part of what we love about Dwell, too. We get to fill our little shop with pieces made, created, repurposed and reimagined by talented Minnesota makers.

So while you’re at the fair this year, take a minute to appreciate all the creativity around you. And when you’re ready for a quieter Minnesota shopping adventure, come see us in Afton.

Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

We may not have a lot of dog stuff at Dwell, but we know one thing for sure… dogs make everything better.

They’re the ones who greet us when we get home, keep us company while we’re working on projects, somehow take up 90% of the couch, and have a way of making an ordinary day feel a little more special.

So today, give your dog an extra treat, an extra walk, or just let them have the good spot on the couch. They’ve earned it.
