With over fifteen years as a Los Angeles Designer, Kymberley Fraser has enjoyed restyling offices, breathing artistic life into business developments and using her passion for transforming houses into homes. Successful design is the result of truly understanding what the client desires and having the experience as well as the focus to bring their visions and dreams to life, introducing them to une

xpected, beautiful finds. Several years ago, Kymberley began importing authentic, antique textiles from Europe. She developed 3 Fine Grains; her own line of custom furniture, bedding, and pillows, along with many other unique and timeless designs. In 2010, Kymberley opened an “antique boutique” and design studio, A Beautiful Mess which is located 10 miles east of Malibu and 40 minutes north of L.A. Her store creatively showcases antiques, artists, one of a kind jewelry, a large antique vellum book collection, along with her “3 Fine Grains” and “Kymberley Fraser Couture” textile line. Candles burn the familiar and comforting scents one grew up with as a child, while the unusual, but remarkable lighting fixtures illuminate the path. Fine oil paintings hang beside rare antique copper engravings that overlook from the walls, acting as portals into another century. Many customers have said she has created tranquility: blending soft fabrics, unusual lighting, and styling vignettes to include contrasting objects which seem naturally placed reflecting her many passions and signature style. Her continuous search for pieces that speak to her is not only reserved for her travels, but Kymberley actively searches for rare finds in her everyday life as well. Kymberley has been asked time and time again, “how do you choose what to buy?” Her motto is, “If it doesn’t speak to me, it doesn’t come home.”

Being recognized with positive press is a dream come true. Kymberley’s creativity has been applauded by The New York Times, The Orange County Register, Romantic Homes Magazine, Country Living Magazine, Washington Spaces Magazine, Romantic Country Magazine, Santa Barbara Magazine and 805 Living Magazine. Kymberley currently lives in her hometown of Westlake Village, Ca. with her husband, their three beautiful daughters, her most handsome French Bulldog, Tucker, and her lovely little Chihuahua, Taco.

Today this piece hit me differently than everyday that I walk past it hanging on a wall in the house we live in. My oldest daughter is a Poet and she wrote this during the Woolsey Fires. It made me weep to think we are here again… but I have to say that so much of those tears are tears of joy for the humanitarian efforts and the love and kindness I am seeing in our communities 🤍 🙏

Happy Memorial Day weekend my friends! Do you have any big plans for the the weekend? We are planning a BBQ and looking forward to relaxing a bit!
