Attended a beautiful wedding this weekend at Castle Ladyhawk in Tuckasegee, NC. Medieval/ renaissance attire was encouraged so I used this Kass McGann kirtle pattern as a base and added some fantasy flair with gold sequined cape and rainbow hair. This can serve double duty now with the fantasy flair removed for SCA garb!

Once again I have forgotten to take a before photo 🤦🏻‍♀️. Here we have a brand new hand pleated top layer for this year’s Sugar Plum tutu. This tutu was originally made by the fine artists at tutu.com several years ago and has been well loved in the sugar plum role, as well as many senior and competition solos over the years. The dancers braved the morning chill for our 2023 publicity photos and we now have the photo premier of the mouse queen! Mouse queen made her surprise stage debut in the 2022 Nutcracker and was such a hit that she will join us again for 2023. And once again the ACBC photographer has caught me napping 🤷🏻‍♀️ what can I say? I’m a night shift worker 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣😴
