NO MACHINES are used to create the leather products- everything is hand cut, hand punched, hand stitched. I am willing to bundle and deal so don't hesitate to reach out. I’ve always admired the art created by my friend and high school classmate Janet Chojnaki. We currently have one of her paintings in our living room and I love it. In June, she & I came up with the crazy idea to swap art pieces- she would paint a mandala, I would make her a custom lined purse. Today was the fateful day and we were able to make the exchange. What she created from a simple photograph of our yard is astounding! I can’t wait to hang it in our home! I was able to make her a purse- 100% by hand, no machines- in a beautifully rustic brown leather called Borealis Hazel Bay, tanned by Arif & Sons in India. It is lined in brown suede and includes one of my favorite sayings that I thought Janet would appreciate. She and I have shared some unfortunate challenges in life but they lead to a renewed friendship as adults, and I consider that her best gift to me. Check out her art and give her a follow!

Freshly completed 4-pocket money clip wallet that was commissioned through a chance encounter. The color combination they wanted is classically excellent! After another long layoff due to a second carpal tunnel surgery, I’ve finally returned to the workbench! The healing process has been slow but steady, and being careful now should pay dividends later. Made a couple guitar straps for the first time, a simple yet classic style & design. Plenty of hand stitching in them, nearly 40’ of thread! I will be looking to do other designs going forward but these are a solid start.

Based on a suggestion from my sister, I made a scaled down version of the Beam Bag. It’s still big enough to hold our modern sized cell phones, a small pocketbook and whatever else ladies carry for shorter excursions on the town. These bags also have a magnetic closure at the top due to overwhelming demand.

Retrofitted an inset magnetic closure on the Beam Bag based on popular opinion. Turned out well but will be easier to do prior to doing the baseball stitching in the future. I’ll also make a 75% scaled down version for those times you’re only carrying the essentials. Thanks for the suggestions, everyone!
