This past weekend was, umm, wild. 😅 Lets just say we kicked off my 1st weekend back, with a bang. 2 bangs to be exact.

I left early on Saturday with the plan of getting my trailer all set up for Sundays event with The Vintage Market, LLC. Life threw a curveball. A flat tire on the trailer. After getting a tire and getting it replaced (all by myself) I was on the road an hour later. Only for 15 min later another curveball. A 2nd flat tire. 🙃 I couldn't make this up, y'all. I may have been questioning my life choices at that point but giving up is not an option. Never an option.

The theme was Island Time and although those delays meant I didn't have time to set up my whole beach themed display, Mr. Bones still came out to party. Thank you to everyone who pushed through the heat and came out for some shopping and a good time!!!

I wanted to make a short video but I can't express myself without crying so here we go with a post. 😅 I want to say thank you to every single one of my customers and the many event coordinators I work with on a regular basis. Everyone has been so supportive during what has arguably been the most difficult year of my life to navigate.

For those who don't know me personally, you offered grace without even knowing why I had to step back. That says a lot about your character and kindness. The year started off rocky with my children's childhood (and my 1st) dog being diagnosed with heart failure. Then my son was hit by a semi. Thank the Lord he was alert and paying attention and his reaction saved his life. But then time stopped when my dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I will forever be grateful that I started this business 5 years ago. Because of that, I was able to take off without question. I was able to be there for his appointments. I was able to move in when he needed full time care so that I could help care for him. Life as I knew it changed the moment he passed away. It has been hard to navigate and honestly, I spent most of July wondering if I was going to even reopen. Deep down I know that would have devastated him. The day we were told there was nothing they could do for him, he made me promise I wouldn't let it hurt my business. I can't break that promise. He was always so excited for me and was one person that ALWAYS wanted me to have nothing but success. He called me after every single event, for 5 years, to see how it went. Every single one. So, we will continue. We will push forward.

I have a FULL schedule for the Fall and Winter seasons. I will start sharing where you can find me in the days ahead. I've been dusting off all my equipment, making sure it still works. 😬 I will start reaching out to those of you I still need to message here within the next week. Slowly checking off all the boxes.

Thank you for sticking with me. Thank you for being here. Thank you for helping me continue to grow so I can keep making him proud.

Due to a serious family matter, Home with Rebecca Jayne will be temporarily stepping away from scheduled events and no longer accepting custom orders.

This is a very difficult season for Rebecca and her family, and she needs to take some time to focus on what matters most right now. We truly appreciate your grace, understanding, and support while they navigate this difficult time.

Burning the midnight oil over here.

I arrived home around 1 o'clock today, after spending some days up North with my family, and have been busy ever since.

Earrings, hairclips, car air fresheners and so much more has been restocked for Sundays at the Market THIS Sunday in Maumee, OH at the Lucas County Fairgrounds.

I've received so many messages just this past week about when I will be live again. I know I haven't been posting new product, show updates or going live very much. I promise, I will give you all a life/business update this week so you understand the silence and know all the changes that are to come. ❤️

When I made my first items for children, I wasn't sure how it would go over. I started with just 2 or 3 shirts. Once I knew for sure I was going to be creating my own little mobile shop, I just knew I wanted a section just for kids. Realizing I gave a lot of sq ft to this section, I prayed it would do well. I was so blown away yesterday at how much y'all loved my children's items. From shirts to Spring paint kits, you loved it all. Those shelves were wiped out!
