✨🧵 Appliqué Night Success! 🧵✨

A huge thank you to those who joined us for Appliqué Night at the Dahyiitihí Biyiin MakerSpace! It was wonderful spending the evening together creating, learning new techniques, sharing laughter, and bringing beautiful fabric designs to life. Seeing everyone’s creativity and unique color choices come together was inspiring.

A special thank you to Shereena Baker for all of her help with class preparation, organization, and co-facilitating the workshop. Your support helped make the evening run smoothly and created a welcoming space for everyone to learn and create.

We are grateful for each person who continues to support our MakerSpace and helps build a creative community where we can share skills, encourage one another, and keep making beautiful things together.

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team at the National Indian Youth Council for your generosity in allowing us to use your beautiful conference room space for our beaded hat workshop. 🙏🏽

Special thank you to Valara, Tara, and Darius for your kindness, support, and hospitality. We truly appreciate you helping make this gathering possible.

We had such a great turnout and an amazing evening of creativity, laughter, and community. A huge appreciation to Arla Lucia for sharing your talent and teaching everyone how to create a beautiful heirloom beaded hat piece that will stand the weather and time for years to come. ❤️

Also sending so much gratitude to my wonderful helpers, Darci and Ethan, for all your help and support throughout the evening.

Moments like these remind us how important it is to gather, teach, create, and continue sharing our knowledge with one another. Ahéhee’ everyone who came and supported this special night. Hopefully we will see some progress and finished hats as the participants move along in the craft!
