A GRATEFUL FAREWELL

Not too long ago, I shared that I would be taking a step back from markets and events in the new year. After a lot of reflection and honest conversations with myself, I’ve realized it’s time to do more than pause; it’s time to formally close this chapter.

Haus of Flame has meant so much to me. It was built during a period of transition, growth, and resilience, and it gave me a creative outlet when I needed one most. I’m incredibly thankful for the moments of connection, the people and the customers who truly showed up, and the support that helped carry this brand as far as it went.

While there is so much I could say about this decision, what matters most is this: I’m choosing to move forward with clarity, intention, and gratitude for what this chapter gave me.

I am pressing pause.

The past year and a half has been one of the hardest seasons of my life. Not because of Haus of Flame, but because of everything happening alongside it. Trying to keep showing up, stay consistent, and move this business forward during a period of significant personal and professional strain has not been easy.

Haus of Flame has always been a one-person operation. Every part of this business comes from me, creatively, financially, and emotionally. I also work a full-time job, as many small business owners do, and I do so entirely on my own. When you are doing everything yourself, that weight adds up quickly. Over time, it became clear that I needed to reassess how and where I am investing my energy.

As much as I value markets and events, they have become increasingly difficult to sustain. Rising vendor fees, oversaturation, and inconsistent return have made it clear that this model is no longer aligned with where I am or what this business needs right now. As a one-person operation, balancing creativity, production, finances, and events requires a significant amount of energy, and it is time for me to step back and refocus. This is not about a lack of gratitude or passion, but about being realistic and intentional moving forward.
