Broken Window? The city of Albuquerque has your back!

A rock was thrown through this storefront window in Nob Hill, leaving the business owner with unexpected damages.

Thanks to the City of Albuquerque Window Grant, the glass was replaced with safety film this time without the owner paying out of pocket.

The program reimburses up to 80% of repair or replacement costs (up to $3,000), with an additional $1,000 available for security or environmentally sustainable glass.

That means up to $4,000 in support for local businesses!

If your business experiences window damage after July 1, 2025, you may qualify.

Requirements:
• Police report
• Timestamped photos of damage and repairs
• Participation in an APD Business Crime Prevention security survey

(Note: Businesses must be located within the designated eligible area of Albuquerque to qualify. The City provides an interactive map on their website to confirm whether your business falls within the approved zone.)
