Here at MadWood Artistry LLC we have several tools at our disposal and can offer some truly custom creations. We have a CNC machine that can create projects up to 30 inches by 30 inches. If you have something larger in mind please contact us as there are options to work on larger projects. We have a laser engraver that can handle projects up to 17 inches by 16 inches in a single engrave. This prov

ides some very unique options for engraving. These however are just some of the tools we have at our disposal. Our gallery of creations is growing daily. Fresh batch off the rack — seven Cherry Pure boards and one Walnut, all single-slab, no glue, no chemicals, finished with just beeswax and coconut oil.

Every board is cut from one continuous piece of wood, so the grain runs unbroken edge to edge. That Walnut piece in particular has some gorgeous color and figure in it.

These are about to ship — only 2 left from this batch.

Finish is on Madeline's Willowsford South Waves achievement board now, and you can already see the color pop compared to the raw carve.

Next step: an epoxy fill in the lettering and team logo — that's where these boards really come alive, and it's one of my favorite parts of the process to watch.

Madeline's swim achievement board came off the machine this week — Willowsford South Waves and her name carved right into the wood, ready to track every stroke: Fly, Back, Breast, Free, IM.

Still raw here, no finish yet, but you can already see the depth in the carving. That's carved, not laser engraved — real dimension you can feel with your finger.

Finish coat is next, then an epoxy fill in the lettering to really make it pop. I'll share the finished board soon.

First look at the eagle carve for our new Eagle Scout Legacy Board — Summit Edition.
Every feather in walnut. Real depth, real dimension — you can feel it with your finger. This isn’t a decal or a flat etch. It’s carved. Then it mounts directly onto the face of the display board.
This is still a first draft prototype. We’re dialing in the final board design, but if you have an Eagle Scout in the family — or know one getting close — send me a message. I want to know what would make this board perfect for your scout.

Harrison earned his Arrow of Light on
3/08/2026.
These boards get me every time. Years of effort,
campouts, hikes, badge work — all of it leading to this
moment. And I know from experience those memories
start to blur. The camping trip that got rained out but
ended up being the best one. The hike where they
spotted a deer on the trail. This board brings all of that
back.

3.5 hours of walnut shavings for something only 6% of Scouts ever earn.

This is the 2.5D carve for our Eagle Scout Award Board prototype — and that’s just the eagle. The carved piece attaches right to the face of the board. Not printed. Not flat. Carved, with real depth and dimension you can actually feel.
