Remembering Bill Buckley. I was deeply saddened to hear of Bill Buckley’s passing.

Bill was one of the truly good ones. Always upbeat, always encouraging, and deeply committed to helping others grow. His passion for training technicians and installers, sharing knowledge, and raising the bar for our industry never went unnoticed.

Bill and Jerry built FLAME-TECH from the ground up into something truly special. They created a unique business model and culture that set a standard for customer service and support that few could match. Long before it became common, they understood the importance of training, expertise, and taking care of people. FLAME-TECH never felt like just another company—it felt like family.

Personally, I’ll miss Bill’s smile, his knowledge, and his constant desire to make things better. He had a way of making you feel like you mattered and always left you better after a conversation. If Bill was around, you knew you’d walk away learning something—or at least smiling.

On behalf of our entire Travis family, we extend our deepest condolences to Vicky, Billy, Michele, Jerry, the Buckley family, and the entire FLAME-TECH team. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Please know that we stand ready to help in any way we can.
