Hello everyone! Update on the Analog Bag event we have coming up! 🔔

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have to postpone our Analog Bag Weekend to June 12-14. We understand this is disappointing and that it may affect your ability to join us on the new dates. We are therefore processing full refunds for ticket price + fees for all ticket holders who request through June 5. Follow Eventbrite instructions to initiate a refund and one will be automatically granted. The good news is that Friday has been added to the new dates!

Looking to brush up on your decorating skills with a floral accent? Join Alex from as she trades her farmer hat for her former chef’s hat and returns to her cake decorating roots for the evening!

As a former co-owner and decorator at Buttercream Bakeshop she has decorated thousands of cakes from birthdays to weddings and beyond and is excited to get to combine her love of flowers and flour for this very special evening!

First, Alex will take you through the basics of stacking, filling and decorating a cake along with lots of tips and tricks on how to make many designs out of delicious buttercream. She will also be talking through what flowers are edible and which are safe to decorate with throughout the seasons - with some special accessories! (It is not quite as simple as buy flowers, stick in cake!)

Then you’ll get your own chance to decorate your very own cake with tips and tricks on how to use edible and non edible flowers and decorate like a pro!

Each ticket includes materials for the class along with a 6” lemon cake to take home and wow your friends and family with! Tickets are in the link in our bio!

Big news, friends! Starting May 16, , , and will each host an Inciardi mini print vending machine—and we couldn’t be more excited.

Created by artist Ana Inciardi, these bright red machines work like classic vending machines, but instead of snacks, you’ll get a handmade mini linocut print for just $1. Each one is carved and printed by hand, featuring charming everyday subjects like sardines, pencils, and tomatoes—you never know which you’ll get!

To celebrate, we’re giving away free prints: the first 50 people in line at 10 am at each store on May 16 will receive one. We’ll stamp your hand in line—use it at one or all three shops to claim your prints.

Hello, Virginia Friends! It’s Amy, the owner of these three gems. I have two requests for you today: Vote Yes on the proposed constitutional amendment and vote for Sandy O. Marks for City Council. I have done both and hope you do too.

Do I like redistricting? No. It’s a political tool to disenfranchise people and gain the upper hand in elections. Republicans have been using it to their advantage for years. Most recently they have deployed this tactic in states like TX, NC, and MO to give the President more votes in Congress.

Did I vote Yes for the amendment? Hell, YEAH. It’s time to fight fire with fire. Join me and vote YES today so we can neutralize this blatant grab for power. If we don’t, then the tyranny, corruption, and cruelty of this administration will be left unchecked. My fellow Virginians, we do this not just for us, but for the entire country.

Ok, on to my second ask. Please join me and vote for today. All politics are local. It starts here which means every vote at the local level counts. Sandy is a progressive politician with good ideas that will improve the lives of ALL Alexandrians. She will defend Democracy, protect the most marginalized among us who have been unjustly targeted, fight for affordable housing, and prioritize support for public school. I believe she is the right person for the job and I have given her my vote.
