Your curtains could be making your room look SMALLER! 👀

One of my biggest decorating tips is to hang your curtains HIGH and WIDE!

✔️ Hang curtain rods as close to the ceiling as possible to create the illusion of height.
✔️ Extend rods beyond the window frames to make windows appear wider.
✔️ Choose curtains that nearly touch the floor.
✔️ Make sure your panels have enough fullness!

Now, here’s where decorating isn’t always one-size-fits-all!

This dining room has 102-inch ceilings, and normally I would have chosen longer curtains to maximize the height.

BUT I intentionally chose 96-inch panels for this particular client.

WHY?

Because she’s a military spouse who will eventually move, and 96-inch curtains are more versatile for future homes. She also has a baby and a cat, so I didn’t want unnecessary fabric pooling on the floor.

And the best part? They hang just ¼ inch above the floor!

Sometimes the BEST decorating decision isn’t just about following design rules. It’s about understanding the people who actually LIVE in the space!

Being a content creator means having arguments with people who haven’t even commented yet. 🤣💀

I started out trying to tell people to enjoy some sunshine and somehow ended up needing DIVINE INTERVENTION. 😭

The amount of imaginary arguments I have before posting ONE video is ridiculous.

And the best part? Somebody is STILL going to find something wrong with this video. 😂

Content creators, PLEASE tell me I’m not the only one who does this?!

I have a bitch. Literally. 🐶😂

She kept peeing on my carpet AND getting on my chair, so I went looking for a solution.

Found these little plastic torture devices on Amazon, and guess what? SHE HASN’T PEED ON MY CARPET SINCE! 🙌

Unfortunately, the rest of us have also learned what happens when you forget they’re there. 💀

Dog: 0
Carpet: 1
Family: Multiple casualties

10/10 effective. 0/10 recommended for barefoot humans. 😂

Are you actually LIVING your life, or just repeating the same seven days over and over?

I’m a mom of five. I’ve been a single parent. I’ve had bills, responsibilities, and more things on my plate than I knew what to do with.

And I still refuse to believe that life is supposed to be nothing more than working, cleaning, paying bills, and waiting for Friday.

You don’t need to be rich. You don’t need to travel the world. You don’t even need to spend money.

Try something new. Learn a skill. Make memories with your kids. Explore somewhere you’ve never been. Or start working toward a career doing something you actually love.

I didn’t collect all these jobs like Pokémon cards for nothing. 😂

I’m not saying you can do everything.

I’m saying stop convincing yourself you can’t do ANYTHING.

Life is happening RIGHT NOW. Not when the kids grow up. Not when you retire. Not when you finally have enough money.

You’re so worried about what people think that you’re forgetting to actually LIVE. 😂📦

I’ve failed in public, embarrassed myself, laughed at myself, and had the time of my life doing it.

Not everyone is going to like you. Not everyone is going to agree with you. And that’s OKAY!

I’d rather attract people who love the real me than pretend to be someone else just to gain approval.

Life is too short to spend it trapped in a box someone else built for you. And eventually… we’re all moving into a different box. 💀😂

I’ll be over here collecting memories instead of regrets.

I’ve been face painting since 2016, and looking back at some of the designs I’ve created over the last 10 years is pretty crazy!

From beautiful to creepy, cute to downright terrifying, I’ve turned my face into just about everything imaginable. 😂I’ve done over 300 designs but these ones are my favorite.

Halloween is right around the corner, so I figured it was the perfect time to bring back some of my favorites!

I went from never working out to becoming a professional bodybuilder.

You don’t have to be athletic to start working out.
You don’t have to be creative to start creating.
You don’t have to feel motivated to practice discipline.

You become the person by DOING the thing.

Your identity isn’t permanent.
