Lutume is a family endeavor, a labor of love. Encouraged by my son Mark, and by my daughter-in-law Nancy, who is also my apprentice artisan, I am happy to bring you unique pieces that I have designed and crafted by hand. Each pot or figurine was inspired by the world around me. Often, I work from a fleeting memory that captured my heart. For many years, in VietNam, I worked as a dentist perfecting

techniques for creating impressions and oral prostheses. Then I came to this country and entered the fashion industry, learning how fabrics drape and flow with movement. Pottery is my retirement career. I hope you enjoy my work as much as we enjoy sharing it with you.
