TONIGHT is our April 10th Guild Meeting!

April’s speaker is our very own Rosie deLeon-McCrady of Redwork Plus for a Thursday lecture on Redwork’s Legacy as well as a trunk show.

Monthly meetings of the Quilters Guild of Plano (QGP) include a short business discussion, announcements of future events, special projects, show and tell, and various entertaining activities with door prize drawings.

Social time starts at 6:15pm. The meeting starts at 7:00pm.
In person meeting is at Hunters Glen Baptist Church, 4001 Custer Rd., Plano, TX 75025 (west side of the Custer, between Parker and Spring Creek).

We meet in the Fellowship Hall at the church (downstairs). Park in the south parking lot and enter through the South Entrance. Our meeting room is on the right, near the entrance.

Visitors are welcome to visit twice at no charge but will be asked to join at the 3rd meeting. To join the guild, you can pay your dues online from the Membership Dashboard (if you’re an existing member), or if you’re a new member, print and fill out the form available on the Membership Information page and mail it in with your check or cash for dues.

This dress was made with love.

Some of the seams are rough but the care is in every stitch.

I am sure the person who received it felt loved every time they put it on.

Now it has to find its’ way home 💔

Pamela Consuegra traveled to Western North Carolina after Hurricane Helene hit.

She wanted to support the small business owners and help however she could.

As she walked along the wreckage and devastation left by the storm, she saw this dress amid the rubble.

She says she can’t explain why, but she knew she needed to pick the dress up and clean it off.

As she worked through the stains from the storm, she says it became clear how much this dress was loved.

How much it meant to somebody.

So she took her time, lovingly restoring this beautiful dress.

She’s now searching for the owner, so she can return some beauty to their world.

While she searches for who it belongs to, she’s holding its’ lesson close to her heart.

She says she looks at the dress and prays for the people still impacted by this devastating storm.

The people who lost everything, still living in tents and trying to rebuild.

That the dress showing us all that something beautiful can survive from all this.

It just has to make its’ way home ❤️
