Today's border is actually a card instead. I couldn't resist trying out the new Thank You Notes Die-Cut Titles & Icons Set. I can see making up a bunch of these to have on hand using up scraps leftover from collections. I used Free Spirit here.

Shimmer papers are really wonderful to use with embossing folders. I especially love Gold or Bronze Shimmer Paper with the Scattered Leaves Embossing Folder. Add in the Falling Leaves BMC and it's the perfect combo! And I keep changing my mind about which Border Cutting Tool edge is my favorite...right now it's the Crests. (So cool how the title nestled right in there!) Which Border Cutting Tool edge is your fave?

It's been fun to play with all the new Dies and Embossing Folders! With this border I emphasized the cool waves by running an ink pad over the embossed surface and then cutting with the swell edge of the border cutting tool. It really adds texture and motion, doesn't it?

Today's border is simple to make but the delicate floral border is stunning. I die-cut the Bees & Blooms border with vista shimmer paper and set it off on navy Hydrangea Haven Tone-on-Tone Paper so it just pops.

The border I'm featuring today showcases the Honeycomb Embossing Folder and the Bumble & Bloom Die-Cutting Titles & Icons Set. I love the intricate flowers and titles in this set! Mix and match them to create beautiful clusters. To get just the right shade of gold for the honeycomb base, I lightly brushed the Cantaloupe Ink Pad over the embossed design on canary cardstock.

Today's border features the crisp clean lines of the Sunbeam 12-inch Die-Cutting Border. I LOVE this die! What a strong, hopeful statement this makes, doesn't it?! I used the Lakeside Memories Collection and loved how the designer papers look alternated between the sunbeams. If you want a border that's simple but packs a big punch, this is it!

Border measurements can be found in the comments.

Having so much fun playing with the new Die-Cut Sets and Embossing Folders! I'm going to share a border every day for the next week or so showcasing one or more of them. You'll find basic measurements in the comments.

First up: The Captured in Time Titles & Icons Die-Cutting set and Cascading Arch Embossing Folder. I love the texture the embossing gives...especially with shimmer paper! The titles and icons in this set are must-haves...I know I will use them again and again for all kinds of photo themes.

Hope you enjoy these! I'd love to see what YOU are creating with these awesome new tools!
