What happens when you bring together more than 75 people representing over 60 Lehigh Valley small businesses?

A pretty incredible evening. 💛

A few months ago, Jessie from Jessie the Florist and I had an idea: create a space where local business owners could connect, support one another, and build real relationships. That idea became Rooted in the Lehigh Valley.

This week, we hosted our first Sip & Socialize, and I think we accomplished even more than we imagined. It was amazing to see so many business owners sharing ideas, making connections, and cheering each other on.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, to the Easton Wine Project for hosting us, and to Soiree Cart Company for the beautiful logo cart.

Happy World Wide Knit in Public Day! 🧶✨

Today feels like the perfect day to say thank you to everyone who has learned to knit with Twisted Threads this season. From first-time knitters to repeat workshop friends, I’m so grateful for every single person who came out to create with me.

We’ve now had over 700 people learn to knit through our public workshops ❤️

As cozy season slows down for summer, workshops will be back this fall and I already can’t wait for another season of creativity, community, and blankets ✨

Honestly, I think one of the greatest gifts in life is realizing your mom is also one of your favorite people. ❤️

In this crazy world, I feel so lucky that my mom is not only my mom, but also one of my best friends.

When I started Twisted Threads, she joked that she was the “& Co.” behind the business… and honestly, she really is. ✨

She shops for yarn, helps with photo shoots, comes to workshops, supports every crazy idea I have, and lets me talk about blankets way more than any person probably should. 🧶😂

Twisted Threads would not be what it is without her. Happy National Best Friends Day to my mom and forever “& Co.” ❤️

A little late, but I couldn't let May go by without a recap. 🤍

Cozy season may be officially over, but Twisted Threads isn't slowing down anytime soon.

🇺🇸 Launched our first-ever Flag Blanket Workshop at Blue Mountain Vineyards
🎓 Celebrated earning my MBA from Moravian University, which has already inspired a new collection of school-color blankets
✨ Hosted two wreath workshops at Pure Barre and Easton Candle Company
📸 Had an amazing photoshoot with Cortney Torres Photography
💐 Started working on a fun new collaboration with Jessie the Florist
👕 Added some new patriotic shirts to the mix
📚 Made a custom blanket to celebrate my friend, Haley Moskella's book launch

And of course, none of this would be possible without all of you who continue to support Twisted Threads.

May was busy, creative, and full of exciting new ideas... and June is already shaping up to be just as fun. 🧶✨

Twisted Threads and Jessie the Florist have teamed up to bring books to life through flowers and cozy stitches. Each month, we’ll choose a book, create a bouquet and a chunky knit blanket inspired by the story, and share our reviews along the way.

Our first feature is People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry, and we’re even giving away the featured bouquet and blanket to two lucky winners!
