The Artrageous Potter is looking for a full-time studio manager to join our team. We are located inside North Point Mall 1000 North Point Circle Alpharetta Georgia. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged. We are is a Paint Your Own Pottery & arts and crafts studio. We offer walk in pottery can and wood painting and host birthday parties, bridal/baby showers, camps, field trips, and a whole lot more. Looking for a friendly, outgoing, patient, super fun, talkative, and positive individual who works well with both kids and adults. Great customer service skills are a MUST and you must be a team player that is able to work days, nights & weekends on weekly basis, and and some holidays as well as days, when kids are off from school for break, are a plus. A place to learn: we will teach you how to work with paints, teach techniques, run efficient and fun birthday parties, glaze pottery and load kilns.
Compensation:
Salary Range: $24,000 - 35,568 DOE
Supplemental Pay:

Schedule:
Studios Hours are typically 11am - 8pm Monday - Thursday, Friday 11am - 9pm, Saturday 11am - 9pm an Sunday 12 - 6pm ( we are located inside North Point Mall and hours may vary as the Mall changes hours due to Pandemic)
Must be available , Nights, weekends and holiday
Must be flexible with hours minimum 30 hours a week
Available for staff and executive team calls via phone or message when not in studio
Responsibilities
This position entails helping customers, set-up and clean-up, working as a team, and taking initiative. Here's a sample of the duties all employees performs:
Greeting customers and teaching them about our wide variety of products. Employees are here to inspire, guide, clean up after our customers and provide a positive studio experience.
Unpacking shipments and stocking shelves.
Glazing, loading and unloading the kiln, wrapping finished orders, and calling customers for pickup.
Opening and closing the studio.
Checking out customers, working the cash register, running credit cards, and answering phones.
Lead kids camps, birthday parties, and classes.
Cleaning studio (mop, sweep, organize, resetting tables, dusting, and cleaning tables, chairs, counters, windows, and more.
Manage staff work schedules.
Daily social media planning and posts
Event planning.
Tracking all studio supplies and stock.
Customer service (interacting with both kids and adults).
Attending to customers while they are in the studio and helping them with any questions they may have.
Answer phones, book parties, ring up sales, wrap up masterpieces, process pottery, unpack stock, and re-stock shelves, load kilns weekly
Painting displays as needed per monthly promotions
Leading and assisting birthday parties and other events (adult and child).
Must be fast-paced and have lots of positive energy.
Willingness to learn and follow direction.
merchandising products monthly
Able to multitask and be pro-active, can work with limited supervision.
Prompt and dependable.
Must be comfortable giving paint demonstrations (both small and large groups).
Having a reliable mode of transportation is a must!
Train employees and monitor operations to ensure customers expectations are exceeded
Monitor and adjust Staff and schedules appropriately to control labor costs
Resolve conflicts that may arise from customers or employees in a professional manner
Ensure appropriate inventory and stock levels with weekly reports
Exceed monthly ales goals
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill and/or ability required
2+ years experience in a leadership position.
Customer service: 2+ years (Required)
Retail Store Managers: 2-3 year (Preferred)
Previous experience as a assistant manager or store manager is preferred.
Possess a continuous improvement mindset to ensure we always improve our employee engagement and overall work experience at all levels of the organization.
Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers.
Ability to communicate expectations to staffs
Willingness to learn the business and provide training to studio assistants
Ability to handle a diverse team in a sometimes stressful environment.
Proven experience as a store manager
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
Work with kids and/or adults
Ability to create workshops and classes from studio resources
Increase sales monthly
