When we’re designing a home, we think about more than just how it looks. We also want to build in systems that help keep the home healthy and working well over time.

I added the Airmada Drying Solutions drying system to my shower, which dries the shower after every use while a 150 CFM exhaust fan simultaneously pulls the moist air out of the bathroom. By removing that moisture instead of letting it linger, the system helps keep the shower dry and prevents mold from forming in the corners.

It’s a small detail, but it’s something I use after every shower and one of my favorite examples of how thoughtful design can support a healthier, more comfortable home.

We wanted this bath to feel like its own retreat, so many of the more functional elements disappear into the design. The medicine cabinets are recessed flush behind the mirrors, nearly invisible apart from a hairline reveal.

Achieving that meant furring out the wall for enough depth to hold the cabinet and insulation, coordinated closely with the build team. It's one of my favorite details in the home.
