Christmas Tree Lane Model Railroad Society Annual Model Train Display open to the public running the first Sat. in Dec. thru Christmas on Altadena's Christmas Tree Lane. Operators welcome!

Our mission is to model the west coast of the United States from San Diego, California, to Seattle, Washington in HO Scale via the Eastern California route of the former Carson & Colorado Narrow Gauge railroad. The layout will be open to the public during the annual lighting of Christmas Tree Lane in Altadena, California the second Saturday in December through Christmas each year. Our goal is to e

ducate about the model railroad hobby, as well as the geography, topography, and history of the pacific west. In doing so we hope to spark the imagination and curiosity of future generations.

It is with heavy heart that we decided to cancel the open house on Saturday January 3rd due to rain. It is our final engagement of the season. Stay tuned for future events including our pride event in June. Have a safe and happy new year!

Join us for our first open house of the season Saturday November 29th 5pm to 11pm!

Please note the official lighting is next Saturday. But we will be open with model train displays hot cocoa and cheer! We are located in the first block of Santa Rosa Ave (Christmas tree lane) look for our signs!

It’s a great night to visit to avoid the crowd and lines! See you on the lane!
