Fall planted plugs

A beautiful, consistent Spring.

Foxgloves and delphiniums are some of my favourites... For very obvious, fairytale reasons. Well, maybe not obvious. They are toxic, but they are beautiful. REALLY gorgeous.
Nigella and campanula are runners up. They are dreamy, and each Spring, I do not want to be without them.

GOOD NEWS! I have extras available for immediate pickup. Do you have a pre-order? Check your emails for "ready for pickup" confirmation emails! If you'd like to add to your order, or simply order some extras, please DM or comment below your order!

Among other wonders, this garden ranks very highly for me.

The effortless charm, the aggravatingly uneven t-posts, the otherworldly existence of the soils' micro-organisms, the ebb and flow of the rows, the weeds left intentionally the life of it all.

What began with an ache of frustration to keep the garden immaculate, ended with the most relieving surrender to life. Let it live, let the earth right here in the garden life so abundantly that my life in enriched merely by dwelling within it. More than that, let the life that I tend and envelope myself in, enrich others that wish for this same life. If I can live beautifully, I want others to as well and I strive to provide a means to enable others to live peculiar and naturally. Bound by the roots of earth, I only wish to live beautifully and to show others that they can live beautifully. Authentically. Naturally. Without bounds that seek to rob us of this fleeting life.

Thank you to all that bought bouquets from my and this garden. To all of you that welcomed me to take part in your weddings. To all of you that ordered plugs to create your own sanctuary. To all of you, all of you, all of you.

Thank you for being the social cheerleaders that come across my screen and encourage me in many, many ways.

Most of all, thank you for the Master Gardener that has taught my hands to tend this earth.
Here's to the season to come 🌿

Much love,
✨ Esther

Lisianthus season was a dream that came faster than I realised, and became a memory just as quickly.

The ruffles, the colours, the absolute dreaminess of it all. These otherworldly blooms have a permanent residency here in the Kairos gardens.

I am biased to the Voyage series. The colours are slightly more limited that other varieties, but the OG Voyages have been consistent show-stoppers with an incredible high-ruffle count and stems so tall they could be a botanical magazine model.

Let's just get one thing clear: you can absolutely botch them up. How? Late planting.
I am not looking for earlier blooms, I am after nice and long, sturdy stems that hold an insane number of blooms. I've found that this is achieved only by early planting. Think April. Maybe late March depending on the weather.

I am THRILLED to offer over 40 varieties of Lisianthus for the 2027 growing season. Voyage, Corelli, Celeb and Sugoi are the series lineup celebrities and under them are many truly stunning shades. I invite you to grow the loveliest flower of all.... Lisianthus is the one flower that I grow that truly stops me in my tracks and demands my adoration.

Lisianthus plug pre-orders are now open. Don't miss the window! It's best to plan ahead and at LEAST get your lisianthus order in. Pre-orders for spring 2027 close Monday, October 5th!

Check out the website to shop spring 2027 plug pre-order products!

Yay! Dried flower bouquets are here! 🍂🌾✨

I haven’t been true to myself very much this year. I went against some pretty fundamental boundaries I set for myself. One of which was, “don’t follow people that cause you to get that internal gut feeling of inferiority”. I never followed as many accounts as I did this year. Whoops. That was my downfall, as I was too busy attempting to alter minute aspects of my business to accommodate a semblance of the success of others, that I lost myself in the process.

Luckily, I unfollowed them.
Thankfully, I am realizing, once again, that to support Kairos Flowers is to support my art, my vision, my style and my aesthetic. In a turbulent world or AI and “wait, is that real?”, I want to be unapologetically loud and vibrant in my vision. Real art, real emotion, real and raw and authentic, because I believe that if you want to make the world a better place, you need to take a look at yourself and make a change (love you, MJ).

I had a specific vision for these dried bouquets, and all season I knew that these would be my “salvation” if they came together how I envisioned. They did. I’m saved 🙈

Faux newspaper tissue bound in the neatest textured brown kraft paper gives these antiqued dried botanicals an aesthetic that makes you want to wander through a farmers market on a rainy day and drink coffee from a mug in a dimmed cafe while planning on watching some nature documentary later that evening. I know that these bouquets inspire this, because this was my response.

These dried flower bouquets are available now. $25 each.
Available on the website, or simply DM/comment to reserve one! local pickup in Alto for now.
Local pickup in EGR as well as local delivery ($10).

I love you all for being here, and am deeply inspired by the loyalty of those that put up with my rather crotchety, unfiltered ramblings 🫶🏽

Gomphrena hits different this time of year, and oooh boy I am loving it so much. I hardly, if ever, use it in arrangements, but dried? I'll take it all.

Being the remarkable advertiser that I am, I am posting photos that have absolutely nothing to do with what I am announcing.
What am I announcing?
I have extra fall-planted plugs!
I am waiting on a portion of them to fill the existing pre-orders placed earlier this summer by the most amazing customers. (Side note, I truly adore my customers. They are incredibly loyal and supportive I am beyond blessed). There have been some cancellations, poor germinations, as well as delays that have pushed things back.

If you placed a fall-plug pre-order, I have portions of your orders set aside, but many of you travel a distance, and making several trips wouldn't be worth it. SOOOO, I am waiting until EVERYTHING is ready to notify you.

Follow the link below to view what is currently available for fall-planting. Local pickup in Alto only.

Also, follow the very last link to get your Spring 2027 order in!

Like a true broken record, here I am.

SPRING 2027 PLUG PRE-ORDERS ARE OPEN, PEOPLE!!!

Yes, I know prices went up.
Yes, I know that things are expensive.
Yes, I know, I know, I know.
But I also know that perhaps aside from raising kids (I totally have experience with that, alright?), and animals (a proper comparison, I was a child once...), planting a garden, GROWING FLOWERS, is one of the most deeply therapeutic and rewarding things you can do.

The world is scary. I get anxiety deep in my gut whenever I deviate from using socials for strictly business purposes.
Get in the garden.
Plan a garden.
Grow vegetables,
Grow flowers.
Sell flowers.
Give flowers away.
Flowers, flowers, flowers!

Now is the time to pre-order. The good stuff, like lisianthus, stock and snapdragons, are available for early spring pickup because that are hardy thangs that need the cold. You have early and standard pickup options.

Local pickup only in Alto... Because shipping is expensive and I don't trust anyone. Especially the mail system with my plant babies.

This is my 4th season offering high quality, cut-flower grade plugs, and I think that should order. Convinced?
Of course you are. Shop below. I'll be eternally grateful.
