Remember when I said Alton had lost its mind when I was gone scheduling all kinds of fun this weekend?
Well this is a good one!
This evening Strangelovely is hosting a reveal party! And Kim always throws the most epic parties.
She’s given Strangelovely a face lift and will be sharing its stunning reveal this evening starting at 5pm TONIGHT! I will be rushing over as soon as I get my shop closed because I don’t want to miss this one and neither do you!!!

Good news, bad news about the floral bar today.
Bad news first. Due to my poor time management skills and the accident on highway 67 causing a major delay getting into STL this morning I will not have fresh flowers today.
The good news …again due to my poor time management skills I did not get a chance to donate my left over flowers from last week. Which means I still have a few flowers left and they don’t look too bad.
So today only my leftover flowers are FREE!
First come, first serve take as much as you want until they’re gone.
Who doesn’t love free flowers?💐
Don’t worry, I will have fresh flowers tomorrow in time for Alton High’s Homecoming weekend.♥️🏈

It’s Thursday Darlings!
I’m slowly getting back to normal Persnickety business.
I’m thrilled to announce I’ve gotten several Mike Wallace from Mike Wallace pieces back in the shop. I met Mike about two years ago and fell in love. He creates these fantastic antique window pieces. Each piece is hand crafted and unique. They never last long in my shop.
I’ve also twisted Mike’s arm and he’s agreed to create limited edition Alton themed windows exclusively for Persnickety! He’s going to be sketching up the designs this month while at Round Top and we should have them available in time for Christmas!
Shop is still a bit of a mess as I’m finishing up unpacking from Randolph, but I will be open today from 10-5pm.
Cant wait to see you all soon!♥️🦋🗝️

I’m a little behind on photographing new pieces coming to the shop, but I did find these on my camera roll this morning.
A few of you spotted “quackers” in one of my sneaky-peekys and happy to announce he will be making his way to the Alton shop today.
I personally love taxidermy, Josh…not so much and since I’m already pushing the line at home with my pheasant under glass and my Jackalope, Quackers could be yours. My favorite part of him? His curly butt feathers.🤣

I was extremely honored at this market to be awarded not one, not two but NINE Blue Ribbons for pieces chosen by Chicago designers and fashionistas for best in show.
