Offered up for sale is this remarkable example, of a 400 year old map by famous English cartographer, John Speed. Nice frame with UV glass on front and clear acrylic on the reverse. NOT a reproduction. All indicators of an authentic map from the period are present. You can see the spline from where it was originally in an atlas. You can clearly see the grid lines from the laid paper. All plate markings around the perimeter are present as they should be.
