Last week, I unexpectedly had to share that the studio would be closed for the remainder of the week. I want to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, but more than anything, I want to say thank you to everyone who reached out with concern, kindness, and understanding. 🤍
There is a hard balance sometimes in being a small floral studio and a business owner with a limited team. When things happen in our personal lives, there isn’t always someone else to step in and keep things moving.
I’m quick to remind others that family and personal life should come first, but I don’t always give myself that same grace. Last week, I had to. I had to remind myself that it was okay, that the flowers could wait, and that people would understand.
And y’all did. 🥹
Last week was a mix of both the good and the hard that life can hand us. It was a week intended to celebrate some blessings in life, but there was some unexpected, difficult moments woven into the midst of it.
One of the biggest blessings of this career is getting to be there for people when life happens — in the happiest moments and in the hardest ones. Last week, I was reminded that I’m a person who gets to experience those things, too.
So I’m holding onto this:
“When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider this: God has made the one as well as the other.”
Ecclesiastes 7:14
Thank you for giving us the grace to step away when we needed to. Thank you for checking in. And thank you for continuing to support this little studio through all of life’s seasons. 🤍
Back to flowers, back to work, and very grateful. 🌸
