Antique Alley Texas

Antique Alley Texas Since 1999, Antique Alley Texas (AAT) is held on the third Friday weekend in April and September.

Antique Alley Texas spans the communities of Grandview, Cleburne, Maypearl, Alvarado, Keene, Venus and Waxahachie, Texas.

01/22/2026

Pop & Gran's Antiques & More 300 E. Criner St. Grandview will not open Friday, January 23 or Saturday, January 24, 2026 due to the winter weather advisories.
We decided to take Friday off too, in order to do some extra preparations around the barn. Adding extra layers of shelter for chickens, etc.
Hope all of our friends & acquaintances will be able to stay home, safe and sound. Hope the power stays ON! 😬
Best wishes,

This gives 1st-timers a good idea of what AAT is all about!

The Antique Alley Texas Treasure Trail is a large, biannual shopping event that spans across several towns in Johnson and Ellis counties in Texas. It's essentially a massive, multi-city flea market and antique show.

Here are the key details about the event:

• What it is: A "treasure hunt" featuring antiques and collectibles (brick & mortar shops), vendors out in pastures, boutique-style venues, yard sales, fundraisers, food trucks, and sidewalk sales. It's not just a single venue but multiple trails connecting participating towns.

• When: The event is held twice a year, on the third Friday weekend of every April and September. Next show April 17, 18 & 19, 2026.

• Where: The trail covers a stretch of roughly 100+ miles, connecting participating cities and neighborhoods. The primary towns involved include:

*Grandview (considered the "home base". Pop & Gran’s Antiques and More serves as the Association office).
*Cleburne
*Maypearl
*Alvarado
*Venus
*Keene
*Waxahachie
*Hillsboro

Who is in charge of this event? That’s the magic of it all! There’s a team of small retail business owners and community leaders in each town who work together to host Antique Alley Texas!

Each shop owner, flea market operator and others set their own days/hours of operation. Motto? “Working Together WORKS”. .

What You Can Expect to Find:

Because it's a mix of professional antique dealers, local shops, church/school fundraisers and individual yard sales, the variety of items to see is enormous. Do we know where all the yard sales are? Nope! That's why we call it a treasure hunt!

You can expect to see an assortment of:

• Antiques & Collectibles: Furniture, glassware, pottery, jewelry, and vintage decor.
• Vintage Items: Clothing, accessories, tools, and kitchenware.
• Arts & Crafts: One-of-kind art pieces and handmade goods (quilts, crochet & other textiles) from local artisans.
• Yard Sale Items: A "potluck" of miscellaneous goods, from household items to unique finds.
• Plants & Flowers
• Seasonal Locally Sourced Fruits & Vegetables
• Cottage Style Home Baked Goods, Jams & Jellies
• Boutiques: Many booths in the various antique malls offer the latest fashion in clothing, accessories and the like.
• Food: Numerous food trucks and local restaurants participate along the route.

Tips for Shoppers:

• Get a Map: Pick up an official shopping directory/map at a central location like Pop & Gran's Antiques in downtown Grandview to navigate the trail. Advertisers will have shopping directory/maps at their locations.
Maps are made available about three days prior to festival-time. Advertisers will have copies available at their locations.

• Timing: Fridays and Saturdays are the busiest and have the most vendors. Sundays are sparse, as Mennonites, some shop owners and other vendors will not set up at all.

• Be Prepared: It's a rain-or-shine event that involves a lot of driving and walking, so dress comfortably and be prepared for the weather.

• No Parking on State Highways: It’s the law. It’s a SAFETY issue and a ticketable offense. Pasture sale operators should offer off-road parking. Drive safe, drive friendly!

We're already knee-deep in preparations for the Spring 2026 Antique Alley Texas (AAT) event. Third Friday weekend every April & September - next show April 17, 18 & 19, 2026.

We are very appreciative of the team that works together, across all of these participating towns to make this bi-annual AAT treasure hunt so highly anticipated in North Central Texas, since 1999!

We have a lot of new families that have relocated to the area and this post is for you.
One can't see and do everything in a day! Better book the whole weekend!
What do dedicated, adventure seeking, bargain obsessed die-hard treasure hunters do?

Check this out:

Thursday before AAT weekend, take a vacation day, call in sick, play hooky (or if you're the boss, rearrange your schedule). Head out to Hwy 4 between Grandview and Cleburne. Many vendors in pastures have arrived early and are setting up. Many will sell early! We call these shoppers "Early Birds"!😅
Early birds get first crack at the coolest finds!

Friday scoot on over to downtown Grandview. Pop & Gran's Antiques & More and the AAallstore Resale Shop will be packed-out with treasures and bargains GALORE!
Go by Tin Shed Antiques on the west side of Grandview.
Then choose between the shops located in downtown Cleburne or Hillsboro, Maypearl, Keene, Alvarado, or Waxahachie.

Note: Venus (downtown), Maypearl (downtown) and Alvarado, located at the Old Settlers & Pioneers Reunion Grounds host a one-day show with a great variety of artists, crafters, junkers, antiques & collectibles dealers, including food trucks on Saturday of AAT weekend.

Saturday? Go explore all the places you did not get to on Friday!

Did we mention all of scattered yard sales? They're everywhere! This is a rain or shine event, so go figure, pretty weather? It's going to be an epic adventure! Do we have a comprehensive list of all yard sales? Nope! That's why we call it a treasure hunt!

Now!
We do have those that will advertise here to get their venue highlighted. Keep an eye-out for how to get your retail business on the Official Antique Alley Texas Shopping Directory. Details & rates will be coming soon.
Message us here to see about getting your yard sale listed too.

Here's the scoop on Antique Alley Sundays:
We recommend go back to Hwy 4 to the multiple pasture sales! Cheap deals on great stuff can happen!
Why?
'Cuz those dealers/sellers are usually pooped-out. They don't want to pack it back up!
Translation? Literally "Bargains Galore" can be found! SCORE! 😅🙃😉😊

A little advice? If you want those famous fried pies "made right before your very eyes", plan your trip for Friday or Saturday because the Mennonite community, plus many others will not participate on Sunday. Sundays are very sparse. Where to find those fried pies? They typically set up in a few different locations. Verified: Redeeming Winds Market in Grandview (Hwy 4).

Whew! I'm tired just talkin' about it!
Check your ride (good tires, tuned-up & ready to roll). Load your ice chest for those Mennonite homemade pies, cakes, cookies, jams, jellies and of course! Bring home some yummy festival foods like BBQ, smoked turkey legs . . . . and, oh no! My mouth is starting to water 🙄😬.
Bring your best buddies!

Notice: Texas Department of Transportation and local law enforment want patrons to know there is NO PARKING on the side of state highways (shoulder/easement). This is a SAFETY issue. Private land owners hosting pasture sales should arrange off-road parking for folks attending their pasture sale. This is a ticketable offense.
Drive safe, Drive FRIENDLY. ❤️

Note:
All of the items pictured are (or were) available at Pop & Gran's Antiques & More 300 E. Criner St. Grandview, TX. Shop hours are nebulous. Jump on their page to get the scoop.
