Awesome day today !
Stepping on the way..

Working towards the goal and mission
Admitting to the isolatory shell,
This truck that’s got stuck
Splurging back into motion🏇

⚠️🌼

Let’s go,
like a truck disguised an an alien
Or sign that marks an unsurviving time

Create our own meaning
Cues and connections
Lean in it’s all in the works

I guess this makes us solar punk?
Fully embrace it as we are fully on solar and not looking back ☀️

Late stage capitalism views, where we symbolically replicate a toy and take away its first function… 👀 catch the thrift stores in a few weeks 🐓
Only shopping first hand when nessesary, trying to close the circle is as simple as we make it. Make our rounds checking the list for a specific few at the second hand. The system of waste has Americans hooked.
We at Crescent Compost, believe in closing this loop and putting our energy towards creative regeneration. Whether that is in our garden, home, or craft. Using what we have, leaning into utility and simplifying.
No we’re not perfect and know nobody is, but it’s about the impact of using our resources to the best of our ability. Less want, less waste, less cycles and less traps. Allowing us to feel more in rhythm with ourselves and not with the Walmart shelves…

Mass consumption, advertising, and mass art are a corporate Frankenstein; while they reinforce the system, they also undermine it. — Ellen Willis

Chiquitita - you’ll be dancing once again 🛣️
These signs have started percolating my dreams, like urbex mixed with overarching feelings. Yes, they are strange. But I think that they are a cultural beacon of true creative pursuance that will never be eradicated. Obsessed, overwhelmed but transforming. 🦋
ABBA keeps coming up, a similar chasing of feelings to express the cultural waves. SOS. Things are gonna find you , so here I am genuine and open, seeing where this will take us. I’m here for a reason! Not to be forgotten or to whither but to reinforce, disclose and strengthen.

Getting down with a potent slate like mix, adding more layers as it gains strength.. we love to see how it transforms the space .. getting ready for the final layer .. helping hands just with the clay

Part 2 showing off some results,
with a Check in from our Garfield cat, Frank 🐈
Colors are slightly green, oaky smokey and rusted, see where leaves were placed..
Durable yet vulnerable. These pieces have been washed and are ready shelf or for another layer . . .
Much love!

Really fun afternoon trip to the canadian river exploring the trails. We chose the cloudy day haha but it was a nice dewey and sandy hike.
. Geologically interesting contrasts at every turn, seriously hidden treasure im only saying bc its always nice seeing fellow hikers amungst the hills…

Idk if its actually called ‘taco mountain’
but when we were young there was a stuck truck in the water next to this crossing for so long they had to fold it and pull it out…. 😑🌮
all of the turns and hills honestly feel that way, like a salsa of different rocks and sands/ clay types cut amongst themselves 🏍️🗿
It was a cool surprise that the dew fealt like we were in a coastal portal to a different time
If you decide to go just be aware of your surroundings and any atvs that prowl, this place is super cool but like a plains jungle always be prepared!

Final pic is from a different visit (alibates visitor center)
