This morning, we had a special guest walk through one of our design projects: Brent Hull Brent Hull
If you’re like me, you are a huge fan of his architectural videos and historic specifications for modern day renovations. He was as kind as ever, warm, curious, and genuinely passionate about every detail. He’s giving a lecture in Philadelphia about the importance of historic millwork, and I’m so grateful he made time to visit with us today.
Thank you, Brent, for spending your time with us, for sharing your knowledge so generously, and for continuing to champion the importance of building, preserving, and appreciating beautiful things. When we understand the value of historic design and quality craftsmanship, we are much less likely to see an old house as something to tear down and much more likely to see it as something worth saving and, hopefully, recreating. It was an honor to meet you and pick your brain about column styles and proportions in this house!
