Alright crystal goblins… class is in session. 😂✨🌿

I’m sharing a post from Crystal Studio Uk because I get so many questions at shows about the differences between crystals/stones—and honestly, I love that y’all are curious.

Because not all sparkly rocks are the same, friends. 💎 (And before some of y’all lovingly call every shiny stone amethyst… we’re gonna work on that together. 😈)

Also… not all “crystals” are actually crystals. 👀 Yep. Some are glass, dyed stone, resin, manmade, heat-treated, altered, or mislabeled. (The crystal world can be spicy like that.)

Color, texture, formation, symbolism—sometimes stones look similar but are actually completely different little earth-made weirdos with their own personalities. Whether you choose crystals because they’re pretty, meaningful, chaotic little emotional support pebbles, or because they match your outfit (all valid reasons, honestly), it’s fun to learn what makes each one unique.

This may also help prevent me from dramatically whisper-yelling, “THAT IS LABRADORITE, SUSAN” from behind the booth at festivals. 🤣

🖤✨ The Hollow has received an invitation… ✨🖤

PIXIE FIELDS GOT INTO THE GRIMOIRE ACADEMY’S GOTHIC MARKET. 😈

And this year? It’s being held at Longwood University during the school year, which means a whole new clientele.

To the witches, dark academia souls, lovers of gothic magic, enchanted forests, moonlit things, mysterious little trinkets, and beautifully spooky aesthetics…

The Hollow is coming. 🌙🕯️

Looks like I’ll be spending the next few months creating moody crystal trees, gothic magic, enchanted woodland vibes, and the sort of things that look like they belong in the corner of an old apothecary or tucked inside a forgotten spellbook.

My husband said “no new starts,” but I’m pretty sure this counts as a ✨summoning✨ and not a choice.

Fall Kiki has officially been activated. 😈🖤

A tiny reminder from the Hollow 🌿

Pixie Fields isn’t a corporate company. It’s not a religious organization, a non-profit, or a political platform. It’s a small art business run by a very real human who is tired, occasionally overstimulated, mildly feral, peri-menopausal, raising tiny humans, managing six pets, working two full-time jobs, twisting wire late at night, and trying her best to keep all the plates spinning.

This page is where I sell my art — art that is deeply saturated with my personality, humor, weirdness, chaos, love of nature, crystals, and yes… sometimes questionable jokes about mom life.

The trees are handmade. The exhaustion is real. The humor is sometimes spicy. The personality? Very much included free of charge.

At least twice a week, I wake up and decide I’m making ✨good choices✨ for my body and quitting wine for a month. Health era. Wellness. Growth. 🌿

Then the 3-year-old and 6-year-old male roommates come home with the emotional stability of caffeinated raccoons, someone is yelling, someone is sticky, and someone may or may not be clothed because apparently life is better helicoptering through the house. 🚁🫠

Suddenly, I’m organically reminded that I forgot to take my meds… and naturally swallow them down with a glass of Chardonnay. 🍷

Then bedtime happens, I sneak off to build trees in peace, and honestly… this may explain some of the tiny chaos and slightly unhinged decisions happening in my trees after dark. 🌙🌳✨

So tell me… is this a me issue, or are we just calling this mom life?

Sometimes I think people assume that if you don’t use a paintbrush, pencil, or marker… you’re somehow not an artist.

But here’s the thing—I do paint. That’s actually where this all started long before the trees.

So… I’ve decided it’s time to let my worlds collide a little. 🌿✨

I’m officially combining my love of canvas art with my love of crystal trees, and this piece is the first step into whatever kind of creative chaos this turns into.

Yesterday I laid down the base. Next up? A canopy full of stones, with little wire details threading their way up through the trunk and into the piece. At least that’s the current plan… but if you know me, the art tends to start arguing back halfway through. 😏

We’ll see what happens. It’ll probably take a few days to finish, but I’m excited to see where the mischief leads.

Taking a break from building trees to let the goblins create their own kind of chaos today — crystal feather bookmarks using the Pixie Misfit crystal mix. ✨📚

I supplied the stones, wire, and questionable supervision. They supplied 1000% confidence and exactly zero concern for how many crystals hit the floor.

Honestly though? They’re kind of crushing it. The Hollow’s apprentice program seems to be thriving. 🖤🌿
