Thank you to everyone who stopped in during Downtown Ames Art Walk last night and a huge thank you to Mike Gilger (of Gilger Designs Custom Jewelry) for allowing us to showcase your beautiful paintings! We enjoyed getting to do some mind-bending color activities and sharing beautiful art with you all. We're already starting some exciting plans for next year!

🎨 Art Walk starts at 5 PM!

One of the best parts of Art Walk is seeing just how far and wide creativity stretches throughout Downtown Ames. Artists are tucked into businesses all across downtown, turning the entire district into one big gallery for the evening.

Take your time, wander a little farther than usual, and discover new artists, new businesses, and maybe even a new favorite spot along the way.

Be sure to check both inside and outside participating locations, as some artists may have moved indoors.

With over 50 years of experience as both a Fine Artist and Goldsmith, Mike's unique eye for detail can be clearly seen throughout his work. World Interiors Day is celebrated annually to highlight the artistry and importance of Interior Design in our everyday lives. The spaces we live, work, play, and otherwise pass through can change how we see and experience our day to day life.
Does the doctor’s office waiting room feel dingy or calming? Does the paint in your bedroom feel bland or rich? Does your office feel stuffy or energizing? These are the problems Interior Designers are working to solve every day in every project we are a part of.

Last Friday, a few of our team members participated in Fairways for Futures, supporting Anchored Hope , Foundations Learning Center, and Martha's House of Hope. We were honored to sponsor a hole and support these organizations making a positive difference in our community. A big thank you to the people who made this great event possible!

The month of May is recognized as Historic Preservation Month. We want to highlight one of our most recent design projects that falls in that category: Boone FLEX. Once home to the Boone YMCA that had fallen into disrepair, this building was in need of updating for modern use. We advised the owners on needed changes for code compliance and improved layout as well as updated finishes that would compliment the provenance of this historic building. We love how elements of the old integrate so well with the new so we could preserve the history of this building. We are excited to see it continue to serve the community!
