You can find Blonde Girl here tomorrow!!
This Sunday, August 16th…the New York Sunflower Festival & Farm Day kicks off at Perry’s Sunflower Maze in Broadalbin for an afternoon packed with flowers, farm fun, food, and plenty to explore! Running from 1 to 6 p.m., the festival takes place at 176 Midline Road, where the sunflower maze spreads across the family-run High Tower Farm. Visitors can wander through rows of towering sunflowers, stop at photo spots and sitting areas, and discover little facts tucked throughout the maze. More than 70 vendors are expected, along with craft booths, food and drink trucks, live music, farm displays, and activities for kids. You can meet baby farm animals, sample Cabot cheese, and get a closer look at the dairy operation, including the robotic milking system that lets cows walk in to be milked on their own schedule. Perry’s is more than a sunflower attraction, too...the farm also sells its own sweet corn and vegetables during summer, followed by mums, pumpkins, and cornstalks in the fall. With free parking and admission available at the gate, it makes for a fun summer afternoon surrounded by one of the prettiest farm settings in the area.
