What type of art canvas to choose? 🧐

😏 Which way will work best for you?

ROLLED Canvas
This is the best option if you're planning to frame or stretch the canvas map yourself or in a local framing shop. We ask our customers to let us know if they need additional mat for stretching. This type of canvas comes rolled up in a tube.

STRETCHED Canvas
This is the easiest way to get your map ready to hang out of the box. The canvas will be stretched onto a wooden frame gallery style (the frame itself won't be visible).

Hi there! My name is Eugene, and I am one of the authors of the artworks that you will see here. If you take a look at our page, you will most likely decide that we are newbies. But we are not 😉

I'm a passionate traveller and have been to many places in Europe and Asia, have summited a couple of mountains.
Probably because of my love of travel, curiousity about new places and countries, as well as an immense love for graphic design and architecture, I started designing maps in 2016.
This image above is the first map I created and uploaded on Etsy. I think that many of our customers enjoy their wall art that was presented on those previews.

Over the years I've created many different map variations and designs, have drawn by hand, constantly striving to make better and unique art pieces.

I'm still inspired by what I do and am full of new ideas and plans!

We have grown out of being just minimalist maps, so here we start from scratch by creating this new account ✨

5 most common interior decorating mistakes

I have been interior decorating for over 5 years. I've had a large number of projects that I've worked on. And I've noticed that 8 out of 10 clients that came to me made the same interior mistakes.

So I decided to make a list of them. Check yourself to avoid these mistakes in your space! Save and share this post if helpful!

Total monochrome. When textiles, furniture and accessories match the colors of larger surfaces, everything merges into a solid mass, in which there is nothing for the eye to catch on. An interior without accents and contrasts loses its visual interest and character. The following formula helps to prevent this: 60/30/10, where the first number is the percentage of the main color, the second one is for the secondary, and the third one is the accent color to emphasize the details.
Lack of indoor plants. Greenery in the interior is vital both for the eye and the way you feel in the space. But many refuse indoor plants because of care and attention they demand. The solution to that is simply choosing low-maintenance plants. One of the simplest plants that will survive in various conditions is Zamioculcas.
Short curtains. This visually reduces the real height of the room. Especially if the curtains are placed on a decorative cornice. In this case, the ceilings will appear a lot lower than they actually are.
Bad rug choice. When the carpet is too big or on the contrary too small for the space. If it has the wrong texture or pattern. It can add to the sense of imbalance in a room, while the right rug can help make the space look well thought out.
Too many pictures that are hung in the wrong way. Tight rows of photos that don't match create a sense of chaos and confusion. Also, few take into account the fact that if wall decor and a photo gallery are hung on the opposite walls they will compete with each other for attention. The wrong size of the picture or the height at which it hangs is also a common mistake.
That is why I make previews for my clients so that they can see how the wall art map will look in their interior before they buy it.
