Every box beam begins with a single piece of wood.

Martin leads the production of this 33 foot resawn oak panel, guiding each step as it is shaped, sanded, and prepared for what will become a seamless box beam. Crafted from one continuous panel, the finished beam preserves the natural flow of the grain without visible seams, creating the appearance of a solid timber.

From the first cut to the final inspection, every step of the process takes place in our Anaheim facility. By keeping the entire process under one roof, each beam receives the same level of care from start to finish before it finds its place in a new home.

Some of the most beautiful details are the ones time creates.

The hand hewn face of this reclaimed oak has been shaped by years of use, leaving behind a rugged texture that simply can’t be replicated. Every mark, ridge, and variation tells part of the wood’s story while preserving the character that makes reclaimed timber so distinctive.

This panel is just the beginning. It will soon become a custom hand hewn box beam, carrying the same natural texture.

This custom resawn oak box beam measures 24 feet 5 1/2 inches in length and 16 inches in height. During the final stages, each surface is refined to bring forward the natural character, grain, and texture that make every piece unique.

From raw oak to finished beam, every step is guided by the material itself.
