During my excursion to the Albany area, heavy rain had impacted the area, making the actual cemetery inaccessible. I am hoping to return at some point to get back into the graveyard. The oldest known burial there is Sarah Dorothy who died in 1854. The cemetery also contains the grave of Elizabeth Babcock Smith (1803-1886), who is designated as a real daughter of the Revolutionary War.

Maggie the mallard duck loved the courtyard at Stilwell Junior High so much, she would return year after year to lay her eggs.
