Good Afternoon! Naataq Gear is open until 6 pm today, October 15th. Swing on by!

We are excited to share that we have a NEW store manager! Amy Bioff. She is the grand daughter of the late Paul and Lily Mayland of Koyuk. She comes with a strong background in journalism and graphic design and her Inupiaq name is Naataq, which means Owl. She was given this name by her grandpa Paul when she was a toddler on the bank of the Koyuk River, way up at our East Fork fish camp.

Please help us welcome her. 🥰

We sure could use photos for our social media posts and outreach. So had an idea.

Thought we would ask folks if they would like to share photos wearing Naataq Gear. Share photos in comment section below and we will add your name to a door prize drawing for a Naataq Gear garment of your choice. One image per person. 😊

Cutoff is at 9 pm tonight.

Please note we will be sharing photos when shared.

Thank you!

As mom would say, invite them in. Maybe they want coffee. 🥰

We have Laura Walker Lagstrom cards available. Laura was born and raised in Nome, Alaska, graduated from Covenant High School and Alaska Methodist University in Anchorage. In 1996 she began taking watercolor classes and workshops and discovered that this was a wonderful way to express her love of Alaska and its people. She especially treasures her childhood memories of subsistence living on the Seward peninsula.
