In this three-session workshop, Tessa Bennion will guide you through the complete portrait process using methods she studied at the Barcelona Academy of Art.

Friday, October 2 | 5ā€“7 p.m.
Build the foundation with canvas preparation, toning, charcoal, structural drawing and accurate measurement.

Saturday, October 3 | 2ā€“6 p.m.
Move into paint while learning palette organization, skin-tone mixing, mediums and a purposeful approach to the first painting session.

Sunday, October 4 | 2ā€“6 p.m.
Develop form, refine details and make stronger finishing decisions.

Youā€™ll work from a live model throughout the weekend with demonstrations, hands-on instruction and personalized critiques from Tessa.
