And thatās a wrap for the season!! Thank you guys for all your supportā youāre the reason weāre here. š
Iām hoping to get the farm cleaned up soon. The summer annuals are mostly cleaned out and now working on the perennials. They were overtaken by weeds this year. Up til this past month we got quite a bit of rain this season, and not just from the flooding. It was a rough year trying to keep it all maintained so I decided to leave it all for fall weather to do most of it.
Meanwhile, the dahlias are still blooming like thereās no tomorrow. So what will I be doing with all those blooms? Youāll see. āŗļø Some dahlias havenāt bloomed yet this year! Hoping they do so that I can get them properly identified before the end of the season. The fall annuals are still blooming as well. Once the frost hits, Iāll be cleaning out those beds and digging up the dahlias. Then washing, dividing, and storing the dahlia tubers over the winter for a late winter online sale. Stay tuned for updates.
This was a trip to McCormickās Creek on Labor Day weekend. Rainy looks bigger than me in this pic.š
(Youāll never catch her looking at the camera. She hates getting her pic taken). Anyway, she just turned 7 last Sunday so weāre the same age in dog yearsā for a few more months. š And Shawn and Iās 14th Anniversary was last Monday.
