Okayyyy… I am LOVING this outfit! 😍 This one just feels happy, cute and perfect for us girls over 50 who still LOVE having fun with fashion!

I paired this adorable textured pink top with the soft pink cardigan for a little extra coverage, because y’all know I love my layers! 💕 Add the wide-leg jeans rolled up twice and those sweet pink flip-flops and I am READY TO GO!

And of course… give me my big silver hoops, Apple Watch, a stack of silver & pink bangles and I’m set!✨

🎀Let’s Talk Curly Hair!🎀

One of the questions I get asked the most is, “How do you style your curls?” The truth is, curly hair doesn’t have to be complicated! Some days I wear it down, some days I pull it back with a cute scarf, and most days a simple messy bun is my best friend.

The fun thing about curls is that a small change can create a completely different look. A half-up style adds a little lift, a messy bun feels effortless, a scarf brings personality, and a headband is perfect for those days when you just want your hair out of your face. The same curls can look completely different with just a few minutes of styling!

As women over 50, I think it’s important to remember that there are no rules. Wear your curls big. Wear them messy. Wear them polished. Wear them with scarves, clips, buns, ponytails, or just let them do their thing. Confidence is always the best hairstyle.

One of my favorite style tricks? A kimono. ❤️

You can take a simple outfit—jeans and a basic top—and instantly make it look more put together with just one piece and some cute accessories.

A kimono adds color, movement, and personality without adding bulk. It helps create a flattering vertical line, gives a little extra coverage where many of us want it, and makes an everyday outfit feel intentional.

As women over 50, we don’t have to choose between comfort and style. We can absolutely have both!

This outfit started with a simple white top and rolled-cuff jeans. Cute? Sure. But add a fun kimono and suddenly it has that little something extra.

Fashion doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes one piece is all it takes to turn “just getting dressed” into feeling confident and cute.

One thing I’ve learned on my fashion journey is this…

You don’t have to wear clothes that show every part of your body to feel beautiful.

For years, I worried about my tummy, my upper arms, and all the little things I wished were different. But getting dressed became a whole lot more fun when I stopped trying to hide myself and started choosing pieces that simply made me feel comfortable and confident.

A flowy top, a fun pair of jeans, a cute scarf, and the right accessories can make all the difference. The goal isn’t to dress for the body you wish you had—it’s to dress the body you have right now and celebrate it.

And let’s talk about these jeans for a minute… I couldn’t resist them! 😊 I actually had a pair of floral jeans in high school that were very similar, and the moment I saw these, all those fun memories came rushing back. Sometimes fashion isn’t just about what looks good—it’s about wearing things that make you smile.
