Two years without my best friend. 730 days.
730 days without coffee dates, Bachelor TV show nights, lying to dad about how much we spent shopping, getting our favorite cupcakes on our birthdays, my favorite tuna pasta salad, lunchtime phone calls, voicemails with “hi carly it’s mom”, getting a hug, receiving genuine advice, and hearing “I love you” from my favorite person.
To be completely honest, the second year has felt harder than the first. The shock has faded into a deep reality, and waking up knowing I can’t ever see her again on this side takes my breath away, literally.
Thank you to this wonderful community for your continuous support. Much of the heart behind this business comes directly from her, and I’m so grateful to keep her spirit alive when you shop with VIV.
