Just one of the cool items to come into the shop recently. Some really great items have gone to new homes like a beautiful Willets Belleek grapes tankard and a super clean Campbell's Beans crate. I had a lovely young lady tell me that people her age are looking for genuine antiques and not new decorator items. She really wants Art Deco to make a comeback!

Tax season for me ended the 16th, thankfully. It was brutal this year-over 500 returns. Toledo Toy Show was yesterday and Bruce sold several large trucks. The next show is Kalamazoo on May 16th. Mark your calendar if you love toys!

So...Then and Now is for sale (it has been). No...I don't want it. I do know the $400k price is less than Mel paid for it. That price gets you the building and the business. While I would love more room, I have reasons for not wanting that building.

This Sunday, January 18th, from 9am to 3pm is the Angola FFA Toy and Craft Show in the AHS gym. I believe the admission fee is $1/person. Bruce will be set up along with several other vendors.

We went to an auction yesterday and had too much fun. My back is paying for the hours of standing on concrete. Bruce bought me three pieces of pottery with bats on them and he got some toys for his collection. Now to head back home and pick up a back bar top. I have no idea where it's going to go. I've spent two nights going through the shop in my mind trying to rearrange a spot. It needs a base, though, so it will probably go next door for now. Five hours out with two shops to hit before we leave the area. Thank God for 60s on 6 on Sirius!

We just want to thank everyone for the fantastic year we had in 2025 and we are looking forward to a better 2026! We will be closing New Year's Eve at 3:45 so we can go meet our new great-granddaughter. So excited!

Bruce and I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with loved ones! Remember, our storewide sales run through the end of the month. On a side note, there have been motorcycles driving past the shop for three days! Just because the snow is mostly gone doesn't mean you can't still Christmas shop for yourself. Better yet, get a jump on next year's shopping.
